At South Atlantic Construction Company we have a team of experienced employees who strive to double check all details and make sure our customers are happy. Our project management team and owners meet weekly to review and maintain focus on project priorities. Those priorities are relayed to our subcontractors and workmen through weekly subcontractor safety meetings.

Steve Simpson
Steve Simpson has over 3 decades of experience in residential real estate development, construction, and property management. In 1993, Steve formed South Atlantic Management and South Atlantic Construction Company. South Atlantic Management has served as developer/manager and South Atlantic Construction Company has served as general contractor in the development and construction of over 1500 multi-family units in North Carolina and Tennessee. South Atlantic Management also provided third party marketing and management services.

In 2002, Steve joined Becky Hurley to form Simpson-Hurley Management, which provides development, marketing, and management services to the multi-family real estate community.

Steve is a North Carolina licensed General Contractor, a licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina and Tennessee, and holds the designation of Certified Property Manager from the Institute of Property Management. Steve graduated from Gardner-Webb College with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemistry.


Randy Robertson

Randy Robertson has over 3 decades of construction experience accumulated in Maryland, Texas, California, Tennessee, and North Carolina. Randy began his career in the construction industry from 1974 to 1983 with the responsibilities of office manager, general supervisor, and project manager.

In 1993 after a move from California to North Carolina, Randy joined South Atlantic Construction Company. Since then, Randy has overseen the construction of over 500 single-family homes, 1500 apartments, 80 town homes, and 192 condominiums.

Randy currently holds a North Carolina general contractors license, and he has held contractors licenses in California, Tennessee, and Maryland, as well. Randy holds a degree in business management from Wor-Wic Tech and from the construction management program from Saddleback College.



Dan Loveless

Daniel Loveless has been working in the construction industry since 1991. He joined South Atlantic Construction Company in 1994 as Assistant Superintendent. He assisted in all aspects of the construction of 994 garden style apartments.

In 2001, Daniel was promoted to Superintendent. His next position with South Atlantic Construction Company was as project manager overseeing the construction and land development of a 192-luxury condominium project.

Currently, he is senior project manager for 34 custom cottages in a continuing care retirement community. Daniel attended Wake Technical Community College’s Architectural Drafting program.



Jeremy Green

In 2004, Jeremy Green started with South Atlantic Construction Company as an assistant project manager and was later promoted to project manager.

Jeremy’s responsibilities focus strongly on preconstruction planning and documentation. This includes estimating, contracts, and customer selections. Jeremy’s strengths lie in his customer relation skills and ability to communicate clearly with both owners and supporting contractors.

Jeremy has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from East Carolina University.
